Nokia launches N80

Nokia today launched the N80, the latest addition to its Nseries family, in
India.

The Nokia N 80 is a hi-end convergence device enabled aimed at those wanting
a mix of entertainment and productivity features. It has a unique Internet
browser with a designed feature to optimize the users' mobile browsing
experience, Nokia said in a statement.

Wi-fi feature, a three-mega pixel camera, integrated flash, 20x digital zoom,
video and MP3 player completes the new member in the Nseries family.

Weighing 134 grams, Nokia N80 is the first quad band handset designed to work
both on 3G and four GSM bands. The convenient, in-built intuitive browsing and
fast internet access makes it possible to send and receive emails at Wireless
LAN (WLAN) speeds.

The N80 features Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology enabling seamless
home media networking with compatible TVs, audio systems and PCs to enjoy a
whole new digital home experience.

The Nokia N80 is based on S60 smartphone platform, the 3rd Edition and
Symbian OS that includes a comprehensive VoIP framework. S60 VoIP framework
enables flexible implementation of different VoIP flavors on Nokia S60 devices,
including the N80. The powerful imaging smartphone also features CIF video
capture with inbuilt video stabilization. The N80 is priced at Rs 32, 059/-.
