Norton Internet Security 2004 for SOHO

Symantec launched its Norton Internet Security 2004, an easy-to-use and comprehensive online security and privacy suite for the SOHO segment. It includes Symantec’s antivirus, firewall, intrusion detection, privacy protection, spam filtering and content filtering solutions, in a single tightly integrated suite. 

The Norton Internet Security 2004 provides expanded threat detection, which can identify certain emerging non-virus threats such as spyware, adware, and keystroke logging programs. It automatically removes viruses, worms, and Trojan horse infections as well as viruses hidden in email and instant message attachments. 

The software includes the new Norton AntiSpam 2004, which automatically detects and filters out unwanted commercial e-mail or spam, on the desktop. It works with any standard POP3 e-mail program and integrates with the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and Eudora.

Norton Personal Firewall 2004 has also been included in the software, which helps laptop users get immediate protection from online threats regardless of the network to which they connect. 

Norton Internet Security 2004 Professional 5 and 10-user packs come at an estimated price of $449.95 and $799.95, respectively.
