Novell announced its tie-up with Sonata Information Technology Ltd (SITL) a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonata Software Ltd, through its Indian subsidiary. Sonata has become Novell's Platinum authorized partner under its recently launched Global PartnerNet Program in India. Sonata would be distributing Novell's Linux, work group, access and identity management, collaboration and network operating systems through its channel partners, as well as through its regional offices in
Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
Novell India and Sonata will conduct focused channel programs aimed at increasing the awareness of Novell's solutions for their partners. "Sonata has the right distributor infrastructure and excellent channel management skillsets which we are committed in leveraging to further strengthen our market reach and to serve our customers more efficiently," said Jayant
