What are the different trends you are seeing with regards to Remote Work trends across enterprises and SMBs in the recent months?

The remote workforce has become the new normal due to COVID-19 affecting our daily lives and the way we work. We are witnessing several innovative technologies and techniques emerging to support the fast-growing needs of enterprises and SMBs to transform the workplace. Cloud infrastructures are gaining popularity due to flexibility, easy implementation, and cost-effectiveness. Endpoint protection becomes a critical aspect from security stance as the dependency on work from home is increasing which puts the valuable data under risk from malicious email, social engineering campaigns, and manipulation of endpoint configuration. SMBs and enterprises are also inclining towards establishing a resilient BCP with the right set of technologies and risk mitigation programs through IT service providers to enhance their remote work scenarios efficiently.

What are the different challenges faced by partners and customers with regards to Remote Workforce Solutions?

The key challenges include:

  • Coordinating complex projects across multiple functions or teams.
  • Formulating the Work from Home policies across the organization.
  • Ensuring transparent communication across all channels.

Coming to the industry verticals, not all sectors have been able to respond to the change equally. Which verticals according to you are adopting it faster?

We are seeing a rapid technology adoption in the Healthcare sector, the focus on usage of a data analytics platform to understand the healthcare functions while advancing healthcare solutions to control the spread of the virus. The popularity of teleconferencing to consult patients is also changing the future of the health industry.

The education industry is also witnessing an upward shift. Online education was limited to people who wanted to enhance their existing skillset. However, given the current scenario, the education industry is transforming by enabling online classes in schools and universities.

The banking industry historically has been experiencing the shift for a decade, the current pandemic has fast-tracked the implementation of technology to improve services for the customers, which includes speedy loan processing, informing customers through SMS, and encouraging the use of online transactions.

The responsiveness of an organization towards ensuring business continuity during such disruptions helps to overcome the challenges of work from home.
