nVidia has announced the opening of its design centre in Hyderabad,
continuing the company's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The Hyderabad
facility becomes nVidia's third design centre in India. In February 2005 the
company opened its first Indian centre in Bangalore, which helped the
development of nVidia's flagship media communications processor (MCP) products.
The establishment of a second facility in Pune in March 2006 followed this. In
total nVidia employs over 800 people in India, a significant proportion of its
global workforce.

Present at the Hyderabad opening, Jen Hsun Huang, Co-founder, President and
CEO of nVidia, said: "India has always proved to be an exciting market with
phenomenal growth. With the launch of the third facility in the country we are
strengthening our commitment to the Indian market.

"The Hyderabad design centre is modeled on nVidia's existing design
centers. This centre will be our focal point for our efforts into strengthening
our position in the handheld products market."
