OA Compserve saw a modest 9% rise in its revenue last fiscal after witnessing a slump the year before. The firm clocked a revenue of Rs 52 crore in FY 2002-03 compared to Rs 47 crore in 2001-02. It earned Rs 27 crore through sales of peripherals alone. 

According to RK Malhotra, MD, OA Compserve, “Over a period of time the group has diversified its operation covering distribution of PCs, servers, peripherals, storage, networking products and franchise operations for
Wipro."

One of the most significant achievements for the company is that it has taken up third-party maintenance contracts for over 8,000 units so far. And it was in this direction to improve its maintenance business, the company set up support offices all over North to provide services for printers and PCs. 

Malhotra adds that last fiscal company’s operation was very focussed and it enjoyed a leading position with regards to marketing of its products. The company also majorly stressed on regular technology upgrades for its staff from time to time to catalyze its growth.
