To meet its expansion plans

To meet its expansion plans, Omnitech Infosolutions expanded into a new facility in Mumbai, measuring over 15000 square feet. It also launched OmniMonitor - an IT infrastructure application-monitoring appliance. The Minister of Cabinet for Industries, Mining, Cultural Affairs and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan inaugurated Omnitech House.

This facility is fully equipped to handle existing and new projects efficiently. It has Gigabit network for over 175 workstations and is Wi-Fi enabled with dedicated lines for Internet connectivity, VPN and IPLC for international data transfer. In addition, the company enjoys access to over 95 locations through a strategic network of authorized service providers spread across India.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Chavan said, “The Maharashtra Government will give its full support to technology companies like Omnitech so that Mumbai, which till date is the financial capital of India will soon also be the most important technology hub of India.” Atul Hemani, CMD, Omnitech InfoSolutions said, “With this expansion, Omnitech InfoSolutions will now have a stronger foothold in the global arena and our customers in other countries to do their business across the globe seamlessly.”

Omnitech also launched OmniMonitor, which has tools like SiteScope, a standalone appliance with a non-intrusive 'Agentless' architecture. It continuously monitors in real-time the performance of company's business-critical distributed systems, including hardware, operating systems, network, application and application components in all tiers of distributed computing.

OmniMonitor is platform neutral and there is no need to change any client parameters in live production environment nor reconfiguration or installing of separate agents. It works on a technology called 'Pull Technology', where it extracts all the desired information from various devices connected to the network and IT setup and measures the parameters that are preset by the customers. When there is a malfunction, OmniMonitor will detect and send alert messages to various levels of authority via voice enabled device alarm, NOC view, email or SMS.
