These forums are part of a bigger ISV Lifecycle program that Oracle is launching across the APAC region.

Sun Microsystems and AMD are partnering in this event. Growth plans, industry strategies and benefits for ISVs are some of the issues being addressed in these forums. Some key take-aways for ISVs from these forums would be revenue growth opportunities with Oracle and technology and cost advantages over competitors, business and product initiative focus areas, an overview of the new ISV Lifecycle program created specifically for ISVs and Oracle PartnerNetwork program benefits.

Oracle Asia Pacific alliance and channels Senior Director, Sukhdeep Singh said, "The primary objective of launching such a program is to build and expand our ISV network. We see a lot of momentum in the mid market segment and would like to leverage these events to further our reach in this segment, while continuing our focus on the enterprise market."

These forums include ISV channel development activities such as recruitment, enablement, go-to-market and management. For ISVs, these forums provide an opportunity to learn about Oracle's latest product roadmaps, ways to extend partner solutions into other markets, and why Oracle is the choice for competitive advantage in the market. In addition, the forums also present ISVs with an opportunity to network and strategize with senior Oracle and partner executives.
