Explain in detail your cloud offerings

GPUonCloud offers special purpose and commonly used cloud platforms. We offer online Gaming for power packed games such as PUBG, DOTA, Counter Strike and 3D-CAD Software such as AutoCAD, PROE, CATIA, UG-X etc.

All of the above platforms are Instant ready to start platforms powered by AMD and NVidia GPU and scalable from few tera-FLOPS to Peta-FLOPS performance. With the GPU customers would be able to enhance the speed of complex processing required for machine learning, deep neural networks, artificial intelligence models, medical analysis, seismic exploration, video transcoding and scientific simulations. And extract essential compute performance from parallel computing leveraging GPUonCloud on our platforms to handle your most complex compute-intensive tasks.

While the cloud is becoming a key factor for enterprise applications including banking and finance, how much is it relevant for gaming solutions?

Cloud is the go to place for technology as well as novice to technology customers. Though the Cloud offerings have started way back in 2010, the actual adoption is in foray starting from 2015 for small to medium enterprises and end users. The overall market size for GPUonCloud as a Service would stand at USD 5 billion by 2024 and for GPU enabled services in Software as a Service Place it would be USD 52 Billion by 2025. Statistics also suggest Cloud for entertainment gaining traction in coming years as a result of its increased adoption, Internet speed enhancement and easy to use options. While the revenue growth for online gaming is between 14 Billion to 25 billion USD till year 2024 at the CAGAR of 5% to upto 15% - basis various well-known advisory reports, the influencing end-user age factor is between the age of 25 to 34 years with 62% male user domination into the segment. The average revenue per user is from 19.36 in 2017 to 17.00 USD.

Are you going direct or do you have a channel plan?

We have the channel plan in place, however we have gone slow on the channel plan initially. We have started identifying the channels since past few months to push through the collaboration possibilities with telecom providers, software vendors and institutes etc. and have been successful in identifying the channels for India and outside India markets.

Empowering our channels in the key success criteria through various branding, marketing, awareness, educational and supportive programmes for the channel partners across India and abroad. The plan is to not only make the transactional sales but to bond the customers to the channel partners for the value added services including necessary cloud migration strategies, techniques, best possible technology options which are scalable with next generation vision supporting them and our indirect client base. Rewarding the channels is the past thing now, as channel partners want to remain in the race for the offerings and needs assurance of the revenue stream in future and GPUonCloud not only provides these advantages on paper but have proven it in reality to make it a win-win situation for the parties involved.

While all the major 3-D software manufacturers are coming with the cloud-only model, what additional cloud option you provide for end-users?

In recent past majority of the 3D software manufacturers have come up with Cloud Options, however when it comes to the final outcome of the cloud offerings of the end product, the end-user experience is missing in a big-way. As you would agree user experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

Products that provide great user experience are thus designed with not only the product’s consumption or use in mind but also the entire process of acquiring, owning and even troubleshooting it. Similarly, UX designers don’t just focus on creating products that are usable; we concentrate on other aspects of the user experience, such as pleasure, efficiency and fun, too. Consequently, there is no single definition of a good user experience. Instead, a good user experience is one that meets a particular user’s needs in the specific context where he or she uses the product. Factors that affect the usability are considered with utmost importance while arriving at our deliverables for the customers i.e. useful, usable, desirable and credible, accessible, valuable, searchable, and reusable. While we provide the Intuitive self-sufficient end-user experience having appropriate mix of traditional and modest usage of the softwares, we primarily offer BYOL - Bring your own license model wherever applicable. We have seen customers enjoying the platform benefits to the fullest with the underlying efficient GPU powered platform and a customised layer built over and above to make the 3D software work as if it’s run on local powerful workstations.

What are the key expansion plans you have for India?

We would like to grow organically and inorganically. Organically we would like to grow by at least 10 times in 1.5 years time and the inorganic growth through channel is expected to be at 30 times. At the end of next 5 years we will see GPUonCloud to be a reputed global company having more than 100 Crores+ Revenue by year 2024.
