Padma Bhushan for Ramadorai, Nilekani and KPP Nambiar

Tata Consultancy Services Chief-S Ramadorai, Infosys
President and CEO-Nandan Nilekani and Founder of the Tata Electronic Research
and Development Labs-KPP Nambiar, will receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan
awards, the third highest civilian honor this year.

Over 106 personalities from various fields have been chosen
for the Padma awards this year. KPP Nambiar and Nandan were recognized under the
Science and Engineering category, while S Ramadorai was honored under the Trade
and Industry category.

Sudha Murthy, wife of Infosys Chairman and Chief mentor NR Narayanamurthy,
was awarded the Padma Shri for her social work. No one was selected for Bharat
Ratna, the highest honor, for the second consecutive year.
