Palit Microsystems, a graphics cards manufacturer has recently introduced
motherboards to its products portfolio. With the introduction, Palit extends its
discrete graphics solutions of nVidia and ATi lineups to reach out to mainstream
Intel & AMD based motherboards with integrated graphics processor and for
scalable supports of enthusiastic multi-GPUs gaming platforms. Palit is going
one step further, to tie-up with Tirupati for promotion of motherboards in India
the subcontinent.
Tirupati Enterprises, is an importer and distributor of computer parts and
peripherals with channels spreading throughout the territory of India. Based in
Calcutta, their partners are located in all major cities across the country.
According to Werner C Penn, regional sales manager, India, Middle East and
Africa for Palit, "Although Palit has been one of the largest manufacturers
for graphics cards, to emerge out of other well-known motherboards competitors
is no mean feat, especially in India, a highly price-sensitive market.
Nevertheless, Palit is a company, always aims for market leadership."
"Palit is a fast-moving company, just three months from debut of
motherboards, has launched eight popular models across Intel & AMD
platforms. Market feedbacks are highly positive. The tie-up with Tirupati has
been strategical," he added.
