Palm introduces Zire 21 handheld

Palm Inc has introduced its Zire 21 handheld that comes with a storage capacity of 8 MB of memory and a 126 MHz Texas instruments OMAP processor. It features the newest versions of date book, address book, notepad and to do list with the latest Palm OS software version 5.2.1. It also has the Palm personal information management applications.

The handheld comes with a rechargeable battery, which lasts for two weeks with normal use, desktop software for the PC or Mac and cables. Users can enter text using Graffiti 2 software, by tapping the on-screen keyboard or by typing information into the computer and then synchronizing it onto the device. 

The Zire 21 is available at Rs 7,500.
