Palm unveils Zire

Palm, Inc has unveiled Zire, its latest handheld offering. Weighing 109
grams, the Zire has a white face and silver back with a 160X160 monochrome
display screen and a removable flip lid. It runs Palm’s personal information
applications like Date Book, Address Book, Note Pad and To Dos. Zire also
features infrared connectivity for sharing of files with other Palm users.

Zire can store up to 6,000 addresses and approximately 3,000 appointments.

Priced
at Rs 6,200, the product ships with four interactive games. It also comes with
the Palm desktop software for connectivity with Windows and Mac.
