PCAIT pays homage to Ashish Aggarwal

In the remembrance of late Ashish Aggarwal and in order to pay homage to him,
PCAIT is soon going to give a totally new face to its website www.pcait.org
that
will be more active and will have a forum under his name.

PCAIT members Saket Kapur, General Secretary, Anil Mongla, Executive Council
Member and Alok Gupta, member, under the presence of RK Malhotra, President,
PCAIT decided it in an executive council meet held on Feb 20, 2007.

According to PCAIT, the main objective for renewing the website is to create
a virtual platform where all the members of PCAIT can interact and discuss
issues among themselves and come up with better ideas for the channel community.

"Our main motive is to give a profound shape to the interactive platform
of channel community where all members interact and discuss their business
matters. The new website will be a little more than a website and will be
complete portal where it give enough space to members to share their experience,
views and business matters," said Kapoor.

With the plans to launch of an active website, PCAIT aim at increasing the
activity among channel partners and bring them under one roof. Besides having
features like blog, chatting and mails, members can also launch their products
on website only and post their advertisements and banners. It will also look
after protecting the interest of the members and provide them open space to
generate ideas and suggestions that cause welfare for the whole channel
community.

"We are even deciding to give award to the members who give best ideas
under the forum of Aggarwal. Though we have not come up with a final decision
but may ask publishing houses like CyberMedia to give award to the members in
their channel award functions like those organized by The DQ Week and DQ
Channels. This will not only encourage members to be active on the portal but
will also maintain their spirit to come up with the best," expressed Kapur.

PCAIT is planning to give a world-class shape to the website that is looked
as a best site for IT news and views in India. The organization is clear in
terms of its budget and does not intend to hold any kind of financial
constraints.

With the presence of an interactive website specifically for channel
community, PCAIT is aiming to push the growth of its members and create a
unanimous platform for progressive partners.
