The elections will be conducted by Surinder Panchal and Pankaj Sharma. The last date for filing nominations is Jan 29 and the final list of the candidates will be prepared by Jan 30. Stating the same, Ajay Singla, President, PCDA mentioned, “We have re-scheduled the elections to encourage maximum participation from existing members. All members' shops will closed after 5:00pm on the day of the elections. We will be holding a meeting during which we will raise issues and address pending matters.”

The present committee has been working towards engaging more partners to take part in the elections. Although about six to seven new members will be present on the day of the elections, they will not be able to vote because as per the committee rules, a new member is required to serve membership for one year before getting the right to vote.

“Currently we have 29 members in our association and we have been working hard to increase the number so that the elections are fair and witnesses maximum participation,” said Singla.
