PeopleSoft launches solution for SMBs

PeopleSoft Inc has announced the launch of World Express, a solution for

SMBs with annual revenues between $20 million and $100 million. The new

solution includes PeopleSoft World enterprise applications, more than 30

industry-specific business processes, implementation services from certified

channel partners, and the IBM iSeries technology platform. The solution is

available for industrial manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and

construction companies.





Developed exclusively on the IBM iSeries platform, PeopleSoft World Express

builds on 20 years of enterprise applications innovation, industry-leading
customer satisfaction, and unmatched reliability. With this new offering,
PeopleSoft is able to deliver a comprehensive solution to a market segment

that demands low maintenance solutions and a rapid return on investment,

without sacrificing their need for rich functionality.





PeopleSoft World Express includes PeopleSoft world applications, configured

business processes, implementation services and industry-leading platform
support.




The solution will be sold through PeopleSoft's worldwide network of

distributors. It will be generally available in North America in Q2 2004.
The solution will be introduced in countries in Europe and Asia Pacific
throughout the next two quarters.
