Philips launches monitor exchange offer to boost LCD sales

Philips has introduced the 'Dhanvarsha' promotion starting 15th September 2003 till 25th October 2003. Users can exchange their any old CRT monitor of 15" and above for a new 17" Philips LCD monitor for Rs 27,000. 

For customers who are want to exchange Philips 15" CRT monitors, the exchange price is Rs 26,000. Philips informs that the existing MRP for this LCD is Rs 49,999. 

The vendor has introduced this scheme to celebrate selling 10,000 units of LCDs in 2003.
