Plustek Inc has announced the appointment of three new national distributors.
This is in accordance with its Plustek's business strategy to further its
presence in India. Leveraging on the extensive channel network and reach of its
distributors, Plustek aims to market its products more effectively in the
country. These new distribution initiatives are in addition to Plustek's
existing relationship with TelExcell Information Systems - their first national
distributor in the country.
"This is a long term partnership. Along with Telexcell, we will tap into
the corporate segment and with the support of our partners, we hope to create
more business across India," said a Plustek statement.
Plustek has now tied-up with Fortune Marketing. Fortune shall distribute
Plustek's OpticSlim M12 Plus, OptiCard 611 and OptiCard 821 models of scanners
across the country. Fortune Marketing has 17 branch offices and over 2500
channel partners. It has plans to add five more branches soon. Agra-based OMR
Solutions has been appointed as Plustek's national distributor for SmartOffice
series of ADF (automatic document feeder) PL/PS range of scanners.
Besides the traditional channel route, Plustek also wants to sell its
scanners through retail outlets like the duty-free shops, consumer shops etc.
For this, it has tied-up with India Digital Life Style Distributions Pvt. Ltd. (IDLDPL),
which will be selling MobileOffice D28 and the OpticSlim M12 Plus models from
amongst the MobileOffice series of portable scanners, the SmartOffice series of
ADF scanners (PL/PS range), and the A3 flatbed scanners.
