Prolink launches mini TV box for notebooks and PCs

Prolink Microsystems Corporation has launched a mini TV box–PixelView PlayTV USB 2.0 Pro–for notebooks and PCs.

This device features a built-in TV tuner, and enables notebooks/PCs to capture, record, and edit TV programs or video from devices.

The mini size TV box captures video quality via interface of high-speed USB 2.0 and turns notebooks/PCs into an advanced digital video recorder. However, it requires a cable connection to watch satellite channels. 

The PlayTV USB 2.0 Pro can be carried anywhere along with the notebook. A user can pause live TV or video shows, if they get interrupted. Once the user starts the show again, it will replay the missed part instantly. It also has features such as MPEG Encoder and Editor.

The product is priced at Rs 6,990.
