Proofpoint expands India operations

New Delhi: Proofpoint announced that it has appointed MTech India as its first regional distributor, India.

Building on its expertise in Internet security services, MTech will provide on-site sales and technical support to customers in strategic markets across India.
Proofpoint is looking to leverage MTech substantial regional footprint and technology expertise to grow the market even further.

According to Rajendra Shah, MD, MTech-India, “We are pleased to be associated with the leading solutions provider in unified email security and data loss prevention solutions for enterprises, universities, government organizations and ISPs, recently ranked by Gartner as a leader in this space. With Proofpoint, we will now have the opportunity to provide defense against spam and viruses, preventive measures against leaks of confidential and private information, encryption solutions for sensitive emails and thus compliance with regulations that affect email use.”
