Quantum appoints Sanjay Dutta as India Country Manager

Quantum announced the appointment of Sanjay Dutta as the Country Manager for
Quantum India. Dutta brings 15 years of experience in the IT industry to
Quantum. As Country Manager, he will focus on helping India businesses of all
sizes protect their critical data with Quantum's industry-leading disk, tape and
software solutions.

Dutta's appointment is part of a broader initiative aimed at expanding
investment of Quantum's sales, pre-sales, marketing, and service in India.
Quantum is recruiting for open positions in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. Sunny
John will focus on increasing Quantum India's channel presence as Director,
Channel Sales and Business Development.

A Graduate from University of Delhi, Dutta previously served as Country
Manager for Blade Servers in IBM India's x-server division. Previous to his
tenure at IBM, Dutta was a managing partner in a successful company in the IT
services area, and worked with regional system integration companies.
