Quick Heal appoints Cygnet Computers for Bihar

Cygnet Computers has been appointed as the sole distributor for Bihar region by Quick Heal. As security is of prime concern for any business unit or a home PC user, day-by-day, more people are moving towards using anti-virus with original license.

“With the increase in the demand for original anti-virus software, Quick Heal has overrun major brands including Symantec and McAfee. It is now the largest marketshare holder commanding 77 percent marketshare in Bihar,” commented SN Prasad, CEO, Cygnet Computers.
Targeting the SMB segment, most of the software sale is concentrated in the regions surroundings Patna. However, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Muzzafarpur are also emerging as major software markets.

Dealers across Bihar plan to get together to provide after-sales support to Quick Heal customers. “As there is no service center or authorized engineer of Quick Heal in Bihar dealers across the state are forming an association named Quick Heal Certified Associate (QHCA) which will work on support issues,” commented Prasad.
Only Quick Heal dealers will be allowed to be apart of the association, which will be certified by Quick Heal. The associate will train and hire software professionals in Bihar to work on the framework of Quick Heal and will provide online as well as offline assistance to customers under the guidance of QHCA.
