A number of state-of-art skill centres will be opened in major cities of Rajasthan under a partnership deal signed  between the Rajasthan government and strategic investment firm RISE India.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Rise India Group CEO Ajay Chhangani, the latter will provide its expertise in training personnel in skills pertaining to the fields of agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry, among others.

The skill centres, to be opened in major cities of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Sikar, Bharatpur and Jhalawar, will be set up in large fully residential campuses which will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and world class infrastructure, a statement said.

“We are extremely grateful to the Rajasthan government for their valuable support. RISE India has been diligently working to empower the youth by enhancing their skills through our robust training and developmental programmes across India. We believe this alliance will accelerate the pace of development in the education and training sector of India," said Chhangani.

Shweta Sharma, RISE India COO, said: “This is a proud moment for RISE India. We see immense potential in Rajasthan and, therefore, the need for skilled professionals.”
