The HCL CDC provides specially designed courses to groom students into
industry-ready professionals. The company already has 70 fully operational HCL
CDCs across the country and plans to expand its centers to meet the growing
demand for skilled ICT professionals.
On the occasion, Rajendra Kumar, Executive VP, HCL Infosystems said, "We are
pleased to join hands with Ramakrishna Mission for this unique initiative and
empower the underprivileged with the power of IT. The IT boom in India has
caused a severe shortage of high-skilled ICT engineers. With HCL CDCs, we hope
to play a leadership role in enlarging the talent pool available to
organizations deploying IT in India. The HCL CDCs across India have received
tremendous response from students eager to make a rewarding career in the IT
industry."
HCL CDC at Ramakrishna Mission will provide courses in C, C++, .Net and Java
apart from its regular academic curriculum in infrastructure, middleware and
networking. HCL CDCs also provide for placement support to all their students
who excel in their academics and display a remarkable performance during the
course.
