The glitterati of Hyderabad including the IT business gurus and the top
politicians are all set to give a red carpet welcome to Bill Gates, Chief
Software Architect, Microsoft. He is likely to visit Hyderabad on November 14th
or ‘the children’s day’ as we know it.
While Gates' agenda remains a closely guarded secret, unofficial word is that
he is going to take part in a vaccination campaign program funded by the Bill
and Melinda Gates Foundation, through children’s vaccination program. After
that he will move towards the towers of the Hi-Tech city and visit the first
software development center that Microsoft has outside of the US.

than 22 acres of land in Manikonda near Hyderabad. Biggies like Infosys and
Wipro already have their sprawling campuses in the same place. Officials at the
Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) are making it sure
that the paper work is well and truly complete before the IT icon’s visit.
Microsoft's India Development Center holds special significance at
company’s map as it has already demonstrated its capabilities to develop a
complete software product for the global market with the release of Visual
J#.Net. The 200 member Indian team, based at Hyderabad, had earlier released
Services for Unix (SFU) 3.0.
