Red Hat announced that it has expanded its channel partner network in
southern India. The new partners signed include Bangalore IT Capital, Ashram,
Login & Anora in Bangalore, Dynamic, Veeras & Gem Infotech in Chennai
and SP Soft, Softpro & Computech in Hyderabad.
Tirthankar Mitra, Head-Channels and SI, Red Hat India said, "Southern
India has always shown an overwhelming response for Red Hat solutions. Linux
adoption in India and across the enterprise is growing, and our channel partner
network is also expanding to address this market and customer needs. These
partners not only cater to customers brought to them by Red Hat, but also
independently pursue new projects on Linux."
The Red Hat Ready Business partner program and Red Hat Advanced Business
partner program offers qualified resellers, VARs and system integrators a
strategic partnership with Red Hat. The program provides partners with exclusive
benefits such as sales and technical training online, logo usage and marketing
support, pre-sales support and product and training discounts.
Red Hat India has a distribution network of more than 70 channel partners,
spanning 27 cities across India.
