We find that people have started to place more trust on refurbished products in the post COVID period. With rising smartphone prices, the demand for refurbished mobiles is expected to have a double-digit growth in 2022. There has been a growth of 58% for devices priced under Rs 10,000.
The market for second-hand smartphones expected to touch a sales volume of 51 million units by 2025, as per IDC India on re-commerce opportunities in India. The affordability factor will continue to play an important role in the demand for refurbished phones.
