However, to soften the blow Reliance Jio is likely to come up with disruptive tariff plans in the next couple of days to yet again create buzz in the industry, according to a Business Insider report.

A Business Insider report said that in the next couple of days starting from 1st of April, the company will study consumer behavior on three key aspects.

The company will see how many of its users have opted for tariff plans apart from the Jio Prime users. Secondly it will observe the number of people wanting to port their connections and thirdly it will observe the number of people discarding their Jio SIM.

Considering these aspects, the company will devise its new set of plans and will roll out in the next couple of days.

Jio had come up with its Jio Prime Membership offer where consumers on enrolling for a fee of Rs 99 would be able to get additional benefits on the same tariff packs throughout the year.

The Mukesh Ambani-driven telco recently said that 50 million subscribers out of the over 100 million subscribers have come on board the Jio Prime membership plan.
