Roop Technology : Accelerated Growth

Roop Technology posted a revenue of Rs 155 crore last fiscal, up from Rs 77
crore in the year before that. One reason why the company was able to get on
this growth path was the opening of its five new branches.

More than half of the revenue for the company came from South and Western
region, whereas North contributed 25 percent, while East has encountered only 17
percent of the total revenue. The reseller/dealer and system integrator segment
contributed 40 and 30 percent of the total revenue respectively. Roop is the
distributor of LCD and CRT monitors as well as LCD TVs of ViewSonic and LG. It
is also a distributor of Epson's inkjet and all-in-one printers. Last fiscal, it
extended its distribution network to join hands with Philips and KYE Systems.
