Samsung exhibits an array of high-tech products at KES 2006

Samsung Electronics bolsters its brand image by showcasing state-of-the-art
products and technologies at Korea Electronics Show (KES) 2006 recently. One of
Korea's largest electronics industry event has been being organized for last
37 years in the country. This time it was held at Korea International Exhibition
Center (KINTEX) in October.

At the Samsung booth spread in the area of 1,155m, one could see the latest
offerings from the Samsung Digital Appliance, Digital Media, Semiconduct or and
Telecommunication Network Business Divisions.

On display was latest Ultra Edition series, which included Ultra Edition 6.9
(SPH-V9900)-a 6.9mm thin handset, a slim clamshell Ultra Edition 9.9
(SCH-V900) and multimedia powerhouse Ultra Edition 12.9 (SCH-B630) with a
3M-pixel camera. Samsung also exhibited some cutting-edge innovations as LCD TV
with full-high-definition resolution, the world's first commercial Blu-ray
disc player (BD-P1000), home-use color

laser printers, the world's smallest and lightest color laser printer
(CLP-300).

While informing more about this show Jong-Yong Yun, Vice Chairman and CEO,
Samsung Electronics, said, “We took part in the KES to introduce the products
demonstrating our latest technologies and most elegant designs. In the process,
our position as the digital convergence leader is becoming ever stronger. We
will continue to find new ways to enhance consumers' lifestyles by introducing
latest products and technologies.”
