Samsung opens new service center in Mumbai

Samsung opened a new service center at Lamington Road, Mumbai's IT trading
hub. This is its sixth service center in Mumbai.

After amicably parting ways with Digicom as its service center franchisee,
Samsung has appointed Delhi-based Express Digital Systems as its service center
franchisee in Mumbai.

“After parting ties with Digicom, we were looking for a service partner who
can serve our customer better and is strategically well-located for the needs of
Mumbai customers. After finding that New Delhi-based Express Digital Sytems had
acquired property at a prominent location in Mumbai, we decided to appoint them
as our service partners,” said Pervez Siddiqui, Regional Manager - West,
Samsung.

“This service center will cater to all IT products including printers, TFT
monitors and hard disk drives,” said Iqbal, Partner Express Digital Systems.

According to Iqbal, Express Dgital has a dedicated team of 18 people, out of
which seven are service engineers.

Samasung has plans to aggressively widen its service center network in a
month's time. “Based on the dealer feedback, we have decided to have such
service centers at prominent and easily accessible location. Currently, we are
in the process of finalizing three more locations for our service center in
Mumbai and Thane,” said Hemant Jadhav, IT Area Service Manager.

The next service center is tentatively scheduled to open at Thane on 14th
October. The other two locations in the agenda are Goregoan and Mira Road and
will see opening of its service center in a month's time.
