Samsung Electronics has launched the SGH-D500. This new tri band is priced at
Rs 22,499. The D-500 includes 96MB of user memory; a 1.3 mega pixel camera;
2,62,000 color, 1.9" TFT LCD screen, Blue tooth, email and syncML
connectivity. It also has 64 polyphonic ring tones; an enhanced voice clarity
speakerphone and an MP3 Player music player. Besides supporting messaging in
Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali and Punjabi, the handset also supports menu in
Gujarati and Kannada.
In addition to the D-500, Samsung also launched three new handset models. The
SGH -E 630 phone comes with 65,536 color TFT screen, 64 poly ringtones, camera
with multi shot and Flash, 21 MB memory and five regional language support. This
triband phone comes with six-hour voice recording function. It also supports
GPRS, MMS and Java applications and comes with a plug-in speaker to amplify the
volume. This phone is priced at Rs 12,949.
The
SGH -E330, VGA camera phone, comes with 65,536 colors dual folder LCD screen,
speakerphone, two hour voice recording, camera with flash and five regional
language support. The SGH N-700 is a dual band, monochrome phone that comes with
a 1,000 phone book memory, five regional language support, GPRS, 16 Polyphonic
Ringtones and a flashlight. While the E-330 is priced at Rs 10,249, the N-700 is
priced at Rs 3,999.
