The company has chalked out 16 cities where it would be appointing 260 channel partners. “Our target for this fiscal is to appoint 260 channel
partners and train them to their potential because the products that we plan to sell are very technical and partners who would be selling them need to
know everything about them,” he adds.

Asim also points out the fact that this fiscal the company is not looking at volumes, but will concentrate on getting the channel community well-versed
with the digital convergence. “Once the channels know this, they would be able to give the right knowledge to the customers as to what each product is
capable of doing,” remarks he.

“The digital camera and MP3 market is expected to rise at a high scale in the next couple of years. We have recently launched new digital cameras and
audio devices to tap this market with the latest technology offering. I am hopeful that Samsung as always would be able to impress the end-users in
this segment as well,” Asim sums up.
