Seagate felicitates best performing partners at Malaysia

In its recently
concluded strategic partners meet at Langkawi, Malaysia, hard disk drives major
Seagate has involved its business partners making its go-to-market policy, along
with felicitating them for their performances in growing Seagate's business.
Around 90 channel partners along with their spouse from 39 cities have
participated in Seagate's fourth premium partners conclave. Seagate's
distributor partners Esys, Ingram Micro and Redington have also attended the
meet.

During the two
nights and three days Seagate partners meet, which was more of an unwinding
session from the daily humdrums of business, the vendor has also sketched
marketing plans for the coming quarters. Divulging details of the partner summit
Rajesh Khurana, Country Manager- India and SAARC countries, Seagate said,
"The Seagate annual strategic partner meet at Langkawi was a very wonderful
experience for us as well as for partners, which was an amalgamation of fun,
recognition, strategic discussions and one on one dialogues with partners.

The best part of
this summit was that representatives from far flung places like Hubli, Gwalior,
Ranchi, Jharkhand, and other hinterland towns have graced the occasion with
their presence, which clearly shows the vast coverage of Seagate across the
nation. Moreover, this meet was special in more than one way because this time
we have called partners along with their better halves, which brought more
ecstasy among partners."

Seagate has
awarded its premium partners for their exceptional performance and efforts in
popularizing the brand. Khurana corroborated, "Another purpose of this
partners meet was to recognize the excellent work done by partners in growing
the business. We have awarded partner taking into consideration their overall
performance, loyalty towards the brand, volume of business they had done and
their efforts in development newer markets."

Currently, Seagate
operates through a mix of sub-distributor partners, system integration partners,
retail and enterprise partners along with its three distributors Ingram Micro,
Esys Distribution and Redington.
