Mumbai based Futech Computers motto is to provide good service to its customers. Parag Shah, CEO, Futech India though believes in the potential existing in the market in the physical security and surveillance space yet feels that education is the main gap in the space. The firm focuses on educating its customers by keeping seminars and workshops for the latest product and showcasing their advantage for using physical security. Shah feels that people are aware of physical security but do not know how it will benefit them and is planning to do whole day event for their customers with the help of our vendors. "We are also doing road shows with many corporates and guiding them as to how this will help them in monitoring in their godowns," adds Shah. The company partnered with a total of three vendors in the last year itself--Aditya Infotech, Netplace Technologies, Sapphire Micro Systems and expects to gain 40% market share in the next fiscal. AVIK, CP PLUS, HIKVISION, ZICOM are some of the brands that they sell and has garnered 25% of business revenue from this place in 2013. The company targets banks, temples, offices, godowns as its market.

Delhi based MK Infosystems have taken initiatives in this space to provide the best solutions to its customers. "Since we all understand, just like we all take insurance policy to protect ourself as well our family, we sell physical security with same concept, we need right solution in terms of physical security, it's not an eye wash, we try to convince and teach our customers about the same," says Manoj Bisht, CEO, MK Infosystems. "The firm's prime business verticals are plants, manufacturing units, PSU, Govt vertical, financing sector. Last year, 20% of our total revenue was contributed by security landscape and this year it is expected to contribute 30-35% of business revenue," he added. He added,"Last year we had partnered with Engine - Italian based company for ANPR (automatic number plate recognize solution). Its special camera with software based read only corrector of the number plate. It is part of safe city concept and we had picked up order for Delhi City surveillance for the same. Further we plan to get more such IP based security solutions." The company's partner base includes Infinova, Axis, Pelco, Samsung, Hikvision, Engine, Smart I, GST, Systems sensor and HID.

The 14-year old Delhi-based Computers Network & Telecom (CNT) recently implemented an access control project with two-factor authentication and smart cards for GLS Industries, a manufacturer of flexible packaging products and laminates. The project included implementation of smart card-based access control at 18 doors, IP surveillance with 100 high-end cameras, and a data center. It also enabled remote monitoring of the plant from the HO in Gurgaon through smartphones, tablets and notebooks for 40 senior executives.
