Rajdip recalls that quitting job and taking risk of starting own company with scare financial resources was not an easy decision for him. Apart from financial resources, HR was very critical and big challenge for the startups.

“It was a very challenging decision when I left my well paid job in London to start a new venture without any strong financial resources to support the venture. Going by the constraints, I had to start my operations from my home at Mumbai. But I was enjoying the challenges to offer our solutions very cost effectively in the international market yet maintaining the technological superiority in our services. It was possible because of my experience and expertise in the domain of messaging solutions”, he said.

Milestone achievements

What could be term as major achievement, RSL has recently cracked deal with BSNL worth one million dollars where BSNL will use RSL’s services to deliver SMSs to BSNL users worldwide where they do not have tie up with operators. RSL will take person 2 person (p2p) messages from BSNL on its hub and then terminate it to the end users. On the basis of this major achievement, RSL is now pitching other big operators in India and abroad.

One year back, RLS adopted cloud technologies to offer its messaging and voice API in the industry especially for small players who cannot afford the technologies and necessary infrastructure to offer messaging and voice solutions.
