Seven-city roadshow by Pinnacle

Pinnacle in association with Intel has unveiled a seven-city roadshow, to
talk about its new video editing software, Pinnacle Studio 11. The event, which
kicked off from Mumbai on 24th May, will continue for 14 days and cover the
cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin, Hyederabad and Ahmedabad.

"The roadshow is an attempt to create awareness among consumers about
Pinnacle Studio 11. Additionally, the roadshow will be used to provide partners
hands-on training on the product," informed Ashish Bakshi, Manager-India Rim,
Pinnacle. Talking about the partnership with Intel, Bakshi said, "We have done
events in partnership with Intel in the past as well and we intend to associate
more with Intel in the times to come. Such events are win-win situation for both
of us."

Pinnacle Studio 11 family is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of
video enthusiasts with three products-Studio, Studio Plus and Studio Ultimate.
The product family offers video creation and sharing capabilities including
support for new HD media types like AVCHD, the new operating system Microsoft
Windows Vista, and web publishing for online video sharing.

Pinnacle would focus on providing solution for the Home Video Editing (HVE)
segment this year. Additionally, the vendor plans to introduce solutions for the
education segment. "We have already identified six to seven cities where we
would approach the top private and multimedia colleges and institutes and
encourage them to introduce editing courses in their

curriculum," Bakshi added. An educational kit with a curriculum, which will
enable instructors to teach editing in a short span, would be given to schools.

The new product would be distributed through Aditya Infotech and is available
with hardware solution events pro deluxe (internal/external) and priced at Rs
17,900 and Rs 19,900 respectively. Free microphone and green sheet is available
with every Studio Plus Events Pro Deluxe.
