Shantanu to head Symantec product operations

Symantec announced the appointment of Shantanu Ghosh as the VP for India
product operations. Ghosh is succeeding Anil Chakravarthy, who will be moving to
the US to lead Symantec's Managed Security Services, Consulting and Education
Services businesses.

"Shantanu is a proven leader who has the ability to manage a strong
development team and a complex organization," said Mark Bregman, CTO,
Symantec Corporation.

In his previous role, Ghosh headed the Security and Data Management Group in
India for Symantec. He joined Symantec two years ago through the BindView
acquisition where he was vice president of Engineering.
