Barricade four-port router with built-in ADSL modem and print server – SMC7404BRA – is an all-in-one device designed to help SME and SOHO workers get maximum RoI out of an ADSL broadband connection.

The router combines a printer port, four 10/100 RJ45 ports for connection to a PC or network and an additional RJ11 port that connects to an ADSL line. The integrated ADSL modem provides broadband Internet access to multiple users (of up to 253 users) by sharing a single user account, and removes the need to buy or rent a separate ADSL modem.

A built-in print server also allows multiple users to share a single printer. SMC7404BRA features a firewall with packet inspection, thus giving users a peace-of-mind over security issues. A graphical user interface is supplied for installation, configuration and management, and email alerts are supplied with the wireless version to alert the user of attempts to hack into the network. The router is available at a MRP of $165.
