Softmart says “All The Best”

New Delhi: This festive season Softmart Software Solutions is alluring all
prospective customers, particularly resellers with an interesting offer
on anti-virus products. It is called 'Antivirus Special Movie Offer'
which is valid from Oct 1-15. According to the offer, a number of free
tickets of the upcoming film /All The Best/ will be given with purchase
of anti-virus desktop products. The movie stars Bipasha Basu, Ajay
Devagan, Mudga Godse, Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan. Immaterial whether
the film does good business or not Alok Gupta, CEO, Softmart Solutions
expects to do good business.

When asked what motivated him to decide to make such an offer, he said, “The choice of movie All The Best was made considering it is a family entertainer and the fact that it is releasing on that particular weekend. We had earlier launched some other schemes and given out tickets of 'Dil Bole Hadippa'.

The response had been very good, as 25 dealers had turned up to avail
the offer. Overall, more than 100 people showed up. Moreover, it was a
very good experience itself, both financially and socially.”

Although the scheme is primarily restricted to resellers and partners in
regions of Delhi and NCR, provisions are also made to avail this scheme
for partners in other areas as well. They can claim SP Software titles
equivalent to the number of movie tickets.

The number of tickets is proportionate to the total amount of purchase.

Accordingly purchase of anti-virus desktop products over Rs 5,000 will
win the prospective customers four tickets. Similarly, with a purchase
of over Rs 10,000 the number of free tickets will increase to six. Eight
tickets will be reserved for those who spend more than Rs 25,000. Also,
to be eligible for this scheme, all purchasing order availing this
scheme ought to mention 'All The Best'. Products under this scheme
includes prominent anti-virus brands such as Kaspersky (North India),
Norton, F-Secure , Escan, Mcafee, Quick Heal, BitDefender, Guardian, K7 Antivirus, PC Tools, Trend Micro PC-Cillin.

The tickets can be collected from the cinema halls 15 minutes prior to the show
timings. The tentative date and timing for the screening of the film is
Oct 18, 11 am. The venue for the screening is Big Cinemas, TGIP, Noida.

Gupta considers such special movie offers to be quite successful and plans to use the same strategy in the future.
