Founded by Vipin Mahajan and Preeti Mahajan, SineWave joined hands with Emerson Network Power (then Tata Liebert) in early 1995. Unparalleled customer support has always been SineWave’s core strength.elhi-based power solution provider SineWave is one the oldest business partners of Emerson. They have been associated with Emerson for last 20 years. SineWave deals in entire product range of Emerson Network Power including UPS, Precision Air-Conditioners, TVSS, setting up of Data Centers etc.

It has been awarded multiple times the Award for being the No 1. ‘Service Provider for UPS’ and ‘Best Business Partner Award’, Sales (All-India) by Emerson Network Power on an all India basis.

The first few breakthrough in 1995-96 were with Oracle Corp, Reebok, Jindal, Yum Restaurants. In 1997 came the first big breakthrough when it booked a `75 lakh order from Star TV which was a rare thing those days. Since then it has built huge list of customers both in the corporate world and government sector.  Few years back, along with Emerson, SineWave did the big `23 crore contract of DMRC.

Major revenue generating clients for SineWave in 2014 were Fortis, Religare, SRL Labs, Naukri. Com, Jindal Stainless, Star TV, TV 18, Yum Restaurants, Samsung, Bharti Retail, Airtel, Walmart, IOCL, DMRC to name a few.

Under power solutions SineWave has various verticals like healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Services etc. Business in the previous year has grown 15% and contribution of power solution in the revenue is 90%. Even after becoming a successful company and one of Emerson Network Power’s key partners in India, SineWave hasn’t lost its customer focus. Says Vipin, “My advice to the channel community is to think big, be very focused on the customers, retain old and new customers at any cost, provide the best pre and post-sales service, and business will follow!” He adds, “We must focus on the customers. They are challenging us and the competition for high performing, reliable products with quality customer support. We must position ourselves to meet the customers’ expectations and requirements.”

However, as a power solution provider Compton in 2014 has powered 500 ATMs of Punjab national Bank and Tamil Nadu merchantile Bank across length and breadth of India. This project generated business of `3.25 crores (approx.) for the company. Hence, on asking about major clients it was mostly ‘banks’ which worked for Compton in 2014.ompton Computers was started by Vahi brothers in the early ’90s to cash on the huge opportunity in the IT solutions space. The duo started the firm to cater to the IT requirements of various small and medium sized organizations that were looking at IT solutions to improve their business efficiencies. Today, it’s been more than a decade since they are serving and Compton has create its unique space in the market. “Customers always first” has been their motive and hence they have facilities life after sales support and NOC at place.

Business from power solutions have contributed to 35% in Compton’s growth.
Sandeep Vahi, director, Compton Computers said, ‘In 2015 we are looking forward to provide customized solutions to their customers. As when you look at power sector there is huge gap to be addressed in rural areas and their challenges are totally different from urban. Hence, a lot of research in terms of designing is required and we are going to focus on that’.

For 2015 Compton is aiming at 70% growth in the power solutions sector. Largely their focus will be bridging the power services gap in rural areas and providing customer specific solutions as every client has a unique need. Hence, for Compton new year will come with a new motto of ‘specific industry, specific solution’.

As new year is about to knock the doors Acebrain Systems has no tie-ups planned but is open as the market scenario takes turn. However, pacing with emerging trends education will be the major focus for the company.ounded by Yogesh Godbole, Sarang Satarkar and Sandeep Bhendgiri in the late’90s the idea was to ride on the wave of success that IT solution market promised. Since then Acebrain has actually fulfilled its goal of tapping the potential provided overseas through its customer-centric approach which is reflected in the organization’s work culture and inevitably help them serve their customer better. Although the company started with a single product line but based on the customer feedback and market expectations, there was a gradual increase in the offerings. The varied customer base has helped the organization not only to grow but also to understand and resolve various challenges in the implementations at different levels. The various implementations and the customer feedback encouraged Acebrain to take the next step and increase the offerings in the portfolio. Business in the power solution segment grew 50% in comparison with the previous one and has contributed 5-6% in the total revenue. In 2014 the Pune based Acebrain systems has primarily worked in the server and storage category providing services to tax department, education etc.

The consulting services included calculation of UPS load as well as battery bank (duration of the proposed backup with the equipment load in terms of KVA)and solutions around the entire range of surge protection devices from Emerson which helped in isolating operational problems in a running setup and facilitated a new infrastructure setup right in the first place.umbai-based Accutech Power Solutions offered many end-to-end consultancy and turnkey power solution projects in Maharashtra. These included projects for Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of India, Adlabs, DY Patil University, IndusInd Bank, L&T Infotech, Pfizer, First Flight Courier and Shamrao Vithal Co-Operative Bank among others. While Accutech is a Platinum Partner for Emerson, it also partnered KACO for off-grid solar inverter products and AMARARAJA for batteries.

Minerva Systems

 hile it was involved in a host of infrastructure-related domains, power solutions constituted an important business component for Minerva Systems of Chennai. Unlike most SIs involved in power solutions, Minerva partnered with all major OEMs like APC, Emerson and Socomec for its turnkey power infrastructure solutions including backup power solutions, electrical distribution solutions, site power auditing and rental solutions. Not just online UPSes, the focus was also on commercials & industrial inverters, batteries, electrical cabling (small to large sites), automatic transfer switches and static switches as well as IP Power Managers.
