Bayer recently stated that a major technological challenge in agriculture is the insufficient interoperability of data.

Farmers have witnessed progress in linking data within on-farm systems, yet the availability of solutions enabling connections to external services and opportunities has been limited. Simultaneously, companies and organizations supporting agriculture and its associated industries have faced challenges in acquiring the necessary infrastructure and capabilities to optimally serve their customers.

This undertaking will empower enterprise users of Microsoft Azure Data Manager for Agriculture with an integrated, all-encompassing solution to seamlessly connect crucial data sources related to farm machinery. Consequently, this initiative aims to reduce the current burden of technical investment costs faced by companies in the industry.

Moreover, organizations can depend on the identical system to link with extra data sources, including in-field sensors, weather, and satellite imagery. They can seamlessly integrate data-driven insights and recommendations from the suite of AgPowered Services into their customer-facing solutions, enhancing the depth and versatility of their offerings.
