Sony launches 8-format internal multimedia memory card-readers

Sony Electronics announced the launch of MRW620, an 8-format internal multimedia memory card-readers in India. This product will be made
available through its national distributor, Rashi Peripherals. 

The MRW620 a built-in unit for desktop PCs is able to read and write on eight kinds of media including memory sticks,
Smaredia, Compact Flash, Microdrive, SD memory card, multimedia card and xD Pixture
Card; without any adapter via an USB2.0 interface. This drive is able to use MS Duo, MiniSD and
RS-MMC with adapter. 

Hemvardhan Shah, Product Manager-Sony, Rashi Peripherals said, "With growing usage of memory cards in digital imaging products like camera,
camcorders, mobile phones etc, the market of memory cards and card-readers is increasing steadily. This internal card-reader fits in
PC cabinet just like a floppy drive and can be used for quick transfer, sharing and access of data between PC in the devices." 

The product is available in ivory white and black to match the two popular colors of the cabinets. It comes with a one-year warranty and
is priced at Rs 625.
