Sophos’ senior management team including chief executive officer Kris Hagerman, senior vice president worldwide sales Mike Valentine, chief marketing officer Matt Fairbanks, chief technology officer Joe Levy and vice president global channel sales Kendra Krause, delivered keynote sessions on Sophos strategy, its partner commitments and the broader future of the IT security industry, in front of over 500 people attending the Sophos partner event.

“Sophos builds solutions to address the challenges of small and mid-market enterprises which make a sizeable contribution to the regional economy. Our solutions are simple to deploy, maintain and manage and provide comprehensive protection to such organizations. Sophos has a channel first strategy and our partners play a crucial role in the success of our company. Sophos Discover 2016 gave us a platform to celebrate our success and plan the way forward into FY 17” said Sunil Sharma, vice president, sales, India and SAARC, at Sophos.

Acknowledging partner’s significant contribution to business in India, Sophos awarded Technoware Systems the Top Performer of the Year award and Spark Technologies the sub-distributor of the year award for demonstrating strong commitment and dedication towards selling Sophos.

In addition to technical demonstrations, workshops and interactions with the Sophos senior management team, partners were also given a chance to learn more about Sophos Clean, the latest addition to Sophos Enduser protection portfolio, which is built on signature-less technology to discover and remove zero-day threats, new and resilient malware. The company also unveiled a new Sophos MSP Connect partner program, which brings Synchronized Security benefits to managed service providers (MSPs).

“We couldn’t have achieved this success without our partners continued dedication towards Sophos,” commented Kendra Krause, Sophos’ vice president of global channel sales and CRN channel chief for 2016. “Sophos remains 100 percent committed to the channel and we have an exciting roadmap for FY17 and beyond,” she added while congratulating partners.
