Special upgrade pricing for AutoCAD 2000 customers

Autodesk India has announced special price promotions for existing AutoCAD 2000 users who upgrade to the latest release - AutoCAD 2004 - before July 25, 2003. The suggested retail price of the upgrade software is Rs 94,500. But, under the Autodesk subscription program, customers can buy the upgrade for a promotional retail price of Rs 69,750, a saving of Rs 24,750 per node.

For customers who do not wish to upgrade with Autodesk subscription program, the suggested promotional retail price is Rs 59,750, which is a saving of Rs 15,000. Upgrade offers are also available for AutoCAD 2000-based products, designed for the specific needs of manufacturing, building and infrastructure industries.

Autodesk has also announced a new loyalty program from January 16, 2004, for customers who choose to continue using older versions of its software, after the support-end date. This program is designed to protect customers' software investment after a product has reached its support-end date and is no longer eligible for upgrade pricing. This program entitles customers to a 40% discount off the suggested retail price of AutoCAD 2004. Customers on AutoCAD R14, R13 or R12 are also immediately eligible for the same. Education versions or AutoCAD LT 2000 is not included in the program. 

From January 16, 2004 Autodesk will no longer support AutoCAD 2000 family of products and customers will no longer be able to upgrade, or cross grade to the newer versions of the software. Under the loyalty program, enrolment for Autodesk's subscription program is required.
