The company was awarded DQ Channels Best sub distributor Gold Bangalore for the year 2009- 10.Megacompuworld deals with PCs, servers, printers, speakers, keyboards and processors.The company has partnerships with HP,Intel,Seagate,Sony etc.

Megacompuworld has increased its revenue by 10 Cr from the previous two years inspite of recession by forging new partnerships. It could have recorded better growth but for its insistence on focusing solely on the southern market rather than expanding into other regions across the country.

Last year the company had Seagate and Intel as major accounts,each contributing 20 % each.Asus was also contributing 8 — 10 % each.While Bangalore remains the high on the revenue radar,Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai contribute substantially.

In an untoward incident the retail unit of Megacompuworld had few damages in a fire incident recently.In order to maintain its partner equilibrium the company had taken strategic decisions to increase its credit period last year.This was appreciated by the market.Megacompuworld has also increased its partner base to a tune of 500 partners across Karnataka and South region.
