The strategy for bringing this product to market is to launch it through a Kick Starter campaign. The aim of this campaign is to generate funding to further develop the prototype and to build demand for the product.

This universal accessory secures tablet devices to almost any surface safely and securely. The concept was born on one of Jay’s many long haul flights he takes for work–he always finds it difficult to get his tablet in the right position, balanced on a tray table. Jay thought how much easier it would be if he was able to fix his tablet to the headrest in front of him to watch films, review documents and play games.

Tabbi has a patented gel suction cup at its base that enables it to stick to most surfaces, whilst a gel pad holds the tablet device in place. The compact stand allows for 360° movement to produce the optimum viewing angle.

Tabbi is easily removed from the surface, leaving no residue, and can continue to be used on surfaces of choice.

Regarding his new venture, Jay commented: “It’s always exciting to see a concept you develop turn in to a physical product. I really have had so many issues, especially when travelling, trying to balance my tablet in a comfortable position. Tabbi is the perfect solution. We’re really looking forward to see how is it received on the Kick Starter platform and to raise some funding to further develop the product and bring it to market.”
