New Update

Sun Microsystems Inc has completed the integration of two partner programs into one powerful program: Sun's
Force Partner Program. This program integrates the Sun Developer Connection Partner Program, previously
Sun's single worldwide entry point for software development companies, into its iForce Partner Program, previously comprised largely of
Sun channel and integration partners.

In India, Sun has around 1,500 partners under the Sun Developer Connection who now come under the umbrella of
iForce. With the recent announcement of the iForce technical lab, Sun now adds value to more India companies with
its hardware, software development tools and technical support. This would help to test performance levels of their applications, port from
other platforms to Solaris and Linux operating systems, verify the scalability, interoperability and undertake proof of concept studies on Sun ONE.

The iForce Partner Program provides tools, marketing and development resources, as well as expanded revenue and market
opportunities to all Sun iForce partners, along with sales incentives to channel and system
integration partners. Some of the resources and incentive programs include: access to development hardware, software and engineering-level technical
support; iForce Solution, Partner and Partner Products directories; iForce Information Source; joint marketing activities and use of the iForce partner
logo; access to iForce Solution Centers and iForce Competency Centers; and iForce Rewards incentives. This enhanced partner program will help drive
increased multi-company collaboration to expand the portfolio of customer solutions available on Sun's network computing infrastructure platform.
