Supertron ELECTRONICS : Superpower Of East

Climbing to an all time high, Supertron has achieved major milestones within

a span of 16 years. With revenue of Rs 611 crore in FY'2008-09, Supertron has

become the sole company from the East to cross the Rs 500 crore threshold

despite the slowdown, emerging as the largest distribution house in eastern

India.

Supertron outshined last year when it was appointed as the national

distributor for Crash Proof and BitDefender Internet Security product combo by

Unistal Systems. The icing on cake was the announcement by Acer about the launch

of two new e-Machines-the D525 on the celeron platform and the D725 on the

Pentium dual core platform, to be distributed by Supertron.

Within a time frame of two years, Supertron has successfully established its

own brand Supercomp, nationally. It has a special focus on the upcountry market.

This year, in an attempt to yet again uplift the company portfolio, Supertron

launched its own premium range of IT products under the brand name of Solitaire.

Besides implementing total online ERP solutions throughout India to smoothen

its day-to-day functions, Supertron also launched surveillance systems this

year, making a new product addition to their basket.

Besides its branches in Dehradun, Chandigarh, Indore and Cochin, a new

division has been opened in Bengaluru to handle the surveillance systems. Under

the revised process as noted in the previous year, the company has

de-centralized the existing service centers by making three RSC (Regional

Service Centers) in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad apart from its Master

Service Center MSC in Kolkata.
