Sybase, provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has
launched the Sybase India User Group (SIUG).
The SIUGs objective is to create an India specific User Group to increase
awareness and adoption of Sybase software. SIUG will provide a platform for the
user and developer community to share knowledge, their experiences and best
practices of using Sybase.
The SIUG's will operate as a communication network between local users,
developers and Sybase management as a single point of reference to share
solutions to region specific application issues, discuss Sybase products and
queries on data management, development tools and mobility. SIUG will promote
local user group activities by acknowledging and rewarding certification program
for excellence.
At the first Sybase India User Group, communities will get to experience
networking opportunities, product updates and a discussion with Haridas Nair,
Director Emerging Technologies, Information Technology Solutions Group, Sybase,
Inc. and Vadiraja Bhatt, Software Architect, Server Performance Engineering and
Development (SPEED) Group, Sybase India as the primary guest speakers
"From the outset Sybase's mission is to serve the Sybase user community
by acting as an information channel, an advocate for user issues, and as a force
that helps to determine the product directions of Sybase, SIUG will provide
users and developers in India an exclusive platform all for themselves, by
themselves with access to Sybase India Management," said Balaji Jagannathan,
Country Manager, Sybase India.
